We actually don't know as to how large the universe is because when we observed a far away supernova with the Hubble telescope, we observed that the universe was actually expanding at an ever accelerating rate of 74.2 kilometers per second per megaparsec. Hence all we know is that the universe is expanding and has no boundaries..
